This road I'm travelling on
It ain't easy and it ain't straight
Has some curves and some bumps
but never would I trade this path
My life is no where near simple
In fact its hard
I have tests and trials
Temptations to overcome
Some take the easy road
Straight to their goal
Without lessons learned
And not even a fight
But because of my hard times
Because of my pain
Because of the obstacles
I truly became me
